We ship all Old Forge Pizza Express food products -- and that means our dough, sauces and secret cheese blend -- in environment friendly recycled brown boxes. Everything is packed inside the boxes in temperature-controlled containers with a minimal amount of dry ice. We do this because we ship everything from our bakery fresh-made. This allows you to freeze whatever you don't use immediately for up to six weeks without a hitch.

In addition, you might wonder why we simply don't ship fully pre-made pizzas (that is, pizzas with sauce and cheese already on them). The answer also has to do with quality and freshness. Through our extensive testing we've found that our pizza dough is so light and airy that allowing the sauce and cheese to sit there and seep in during the shipping process won't result in a product as fresh as when you assemble everything yourself. Moreover, it's fun to have a pizza party -- or just a pizza night -- for family and friends where you can actually assemble your pizza yourself and bake it in your home oven according to our simple baking instructions.
